People need people. That is practically a law of nature, but what makes one person attractive to another varies, depending on the person. There are those that are attract to a person’s looks the most. Others value the intellect of their loved ones. Still others connect most strongly with people emotionally. Personally, I hold to the belief that attraction is strongest when it is based on a combination of all three of these things.
People are not meant to be one-dimensional. Likewise, lasting attraction should not be based on only one thing. God created humans to be complex, and that’s where the old saying of “Opposites attract” rings the truest. Although, this requires a hard path to finding the “right” person, it is also part of a healthy life. Being alike results in good friendships, but to form love relationships, there needs to be some element of challenge, and the willingness of both people to work through those challenges. This requires a certain amount of devotion and is by no means shallow. May God bless my readers until we meet again.
